Delete your Behesht account

You never need an account to use Behesht. If you made one to back up and sync your data, you can delete it at any time, and everything it holds on our servers goes with it.

In the app

  1. Open Profile & Account

    Open Behesht and go to Explore › Settings & Support › Profile & Account.

  2. Delete the account

    Tap Delete account and confirm.

The account and its data are deleted straight away.

Without the app

Email support@kurdicode.com from the address you signed up with, with the subject Delete my Behesht account. We delete the account within 30 days, usually much sooner, and reply to confirm.

What is deleted

  • your name, email address and password;
  • every synced copy of your data: settings, Quran bookmarks, Khatam, reading history, highlights, memorisation, prayer, qada and fasting logs, dhikr, Ramadan, saved duas, notes, hadith and Learn to Read progress;
  • the list of phones signed in to the account.

What is kept

Nothing is kept on our side.

A copy can remain in our hosting provider's backups for up to 30 days, until those backups expire. It is not used for anything.

What is stored on your own phone stays there until you uninstall the app. Deleting the account does not erase it.
